Nail Polish Evolution
Christmas time is here and you're sitting here stumped on what to write on your wishlist. You have everything you want so you search up "best gifts for teen girls". Well, unfortunately, that still doesn't help. You then realize your polish collection is running a little low and decide a few new colors won't hurt, even though you're always too lazy to do your nails because there's a nail salon approximately 1/2 mile away.
You get your gift back and "voila" brand new nail polishes! These two colors you receive will make the collection on your dresser the perfect rainbow. Could it get more satisfying than that? All things aside you try to ignore that fact that the colors you got were actually your least favorite. But Hey, hopefully, someone who stops by your dresser will compliment the collection because that's all that matters, right?
Sooner or later you have an important occasion coming up and need to get those polishes in action! The salon nearby you is closed so you wonder why not paint my own nails this time. You wonder only if life could be as simple as putting on the one coat of color you want. For a perfect manicure, sadly, a nail clipper, nail filer, buffer, top coat, the desired color of polish, and top coat are all vital. Vital for who though? The once simplified process of painting nails has evolved to become a frustrating two-hourlong process just to impress and please others. From choosing the color to finding the shape of your nails, women are selecting what they want based on what others want. However, not going to lie, I sometimes am a pure victim of this accusation along with many others. Sometimes it's inevitable. Sometimes its hard to control ourselves from trying to do something in a way that pleases others.
Sahita this is really good! This really captures the essence of a kid who values other people's opinions so heavily. It is sad to see people who do things to impress other people. In a perfect society, everything should be done for one's own happiness. Your mention of looking up "best gifts for teen girls" is also very funny. I feel like some people don't realize how fortunate they are.
